Which is why we lose to the repigs so much. They stick together which is what the dems should do.

It’s worth saying because it needed to be said.

I wish there was a mental fitness rule being used to police our legislators. I'd much rather discuss that parameter than age.

Fetterman quite likely had at least one and probably additional subsequent right hemisphere infarctions. One stroke is almost always followed by another.

That type, the right hemisphere stroke, is notorious for usually leaving the patient with mobility and limb functions intact, but with judgment and personality severely damaged.

The patients' abilities to problem solve, control executive function, and have meaningful insight into their limitations are enormous problems in rehabilitation affecting work, family life, and the usual understanding of acceptable societal expectations.

They are extremely difficult to help and can be serious dangers to themselves and others.

I know. I used to participate as a member of a team of specialists who tried to help them and their families.

Quite sad, really.

Their personalities often change dramatically and irreversibly.

Anosognosia, which is a frequent concomitant feature, is one of the greatest drawbacks that rehabilitation medicine can face.

It's present in other health conditions, too, like schizophrenia and is an unbreakable barrier in most cases where the goal is to achieve positive outcomes for the patients and families.

This should probably be an OP. I will add it to my journal and maybe elaborate on it later.

Right now, I'm going to bed. I think I may have been enough of a useful contributing member of society today for now.

I hope that I didn't go overboard. Y'all might miss me, and I can't swim.

Sweet dreams to anyone who reads this.

Thanks for the inspiration, flashman13.

Stay encouraged. ❤️

Surprised to see his vote. I will see what I can find on his motive.

Likely someone even worse. As for DHS. Might as well 'flush' any hopes of improvement.

Paul was the only Republican to vote No. So, Mullin would have been confirmed regardless.

However, Fetterman voted Yes in committee. If he had voted no, the nomination would have never gone to the floor. That is the vote he should be criticized for.
