Why is the USPS inserting so many links to Cessbook on its Web pages ?

I went to Informed Delivery to find out why I have not gotten a couple of bills I expected to have received by now. It shows *several* mail items which were supposedly sent to this address which I have not seen. There used to be a little box I could check to alert USPS for each item not received; it is gone now. Trying to locate missing mail is now a much slower, more complicated process.

On the other hand, several of my mail items now sport links to Cessbook pages, which I cannot access because I do not have, have never had, will never have, a Cessbook account. I sure am curious why this one corp has such easy access to USPS pages, and what possible kickbacks were involved in getting it.

1. I use informed delivery and will have to see if the check box is gone. But what is Cessbook?

IDK why USPS is promoting that site, other than perhaps it also has an online marketplace it does some AI Customer Service bot on.
A lot of the Federal Government does unclassified public facing business on social media, mainly because they got rid of actual CS and Tech support, so they're using the "free" access limited services everyone is used to stumbling through trying to find food trucks, hours of service, or meet-ups.

5. It tells me I'm not logged in. I've almost never connected to any FB page, even when someone sent me a link.

Maybe it varies from link to link, but I'm not going to check.

8. Thanks. I've had to use it before. Haven't used ID for a while except for packages, where I go straight to tracking. nt

9. My Informed Delivery no longer has the checkmark box;

however it does have this:

Mail may arrive several days after you receive the notification. Please allow up to a week for delivery before reporting missing mail. Report missing mail.

The "Report missing mail" is a clickable link that brings you to this: https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm

Cessbook? Never heard of it.

10. Thanks, that's what I was referring to when I said the process was a lot slower now. Data has to be typed in by hand.

No convenient clicking on the link. Maybe those got overused, but I would think a built-in 3-day delay would have eliminated a lot of that.

Now I have to download the graphics by hand before they disappear, note the date (by hand), and then type it all into the search form, apparently once for each piece of missing mail. I'm missing as many as 10.

Repugs have fucked up the USPS thoroughly. They **WANT** to break it beyond repair, and then say "Well, the only solution is to privatize it."

Repugs don't *really* want to "run the government like a business", they want to transform it into an actual, for-profit, privately-owned business.

Seems they truly hope we will become so fed up and discouraged about jumping through their hoops that we'll just give up...on our services, our benefits, our rights.

I'm so sick and tired of this entitled, privileged, moron president and his lackies, but I'll fight to my dying day to get each and every one out of office and out of our lives.
