So it lets you read beyond a paywall, but not save a PDF copy with the paywalled content?

Also - Palantir is evil - they are now worming their way into the UK's personal data.

Sometimes, someone like MSN will syndicate an article.

This was new to me, the only one I found that worked.

I also like to save articles as pdf, using Firefox's print style sheet (plain or simplified)

It didn't work, as you saw.

But you can scrape the text and run it through sentence splitter (I do this for YT transcripts)
https://sentencesplitter.com/

It will give you a doc file that looks decent.

I hate (most of ) the internet.

But I (almost always) find a way!

I often find it easier to read an archived PDF than what appears on screen. And also, contrary to popular wisdom, the internet is not "forever," although much of the junk seems to be!
