Let me see if I've got this straight yet. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

A few weeks ago we were actually negotiating with the Iranians, and then suddenly we started bombing them, and we managed to kill their top negotiator and a bunch of school girls and probably other people. Now Pete Kegbreath is explaining, "We negotiate with bombs," which is perhaps why "Big Mac" Donald is hallucinating that we're negotiating with the Iranians while the Iranians are meanwhile saying "What! The hell you say!" So we're getting ready to send thousands of troops towards the Middle East, while Donnie is busy ending sanctions to make sure the Iranians can sell plenty of their oil because this is just the fucking perfect time to make sure whoever-the-fuck we're going to war with has enough money to kill our soldiers so we have an excuse to buy lots more weapons to enrich the fucking military-industrial complex. And because Donnie is noisy bag of hot stinky gas, we're hearing how it's almost over and how it's all Kegbreath's fault and how we're going to bomb them into the Stone Age unless Donnie gets to snuggle up with some Ayatollah in Hormuz

He doesn't care who's kids. He's a psychopath who wants to be a trillionaire.

War is a racket.

War Is a Racket is a speech and a 1935 short book by Smedley D. Butler, a retired United States Marine Corps major general and two-time Medal of Honor recipient.[2][3] Based on his career military experience, Butler discusses how business interests commercially benefit from warfare.
...
In War Is a Racket, Butler points to a variety of examples, mostly from World War I, where industrialists, whose operations were subsidized by public funding, were able to generate substantial profits, making money from mass human suffering.

The work is divided into five chapters:

War is a racket
Who makes the profits?
Who pays the bills?
How to smash this racket!
To hell with war!
It contains this summary:

War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.
