1. The US has so lost values, character issues. All they poll is inflation and money.

Rich and immoral is fine with the populace.

2. It depends on the American...there is a segment of our society whose priorities

are getting what "they" want and they don't really care how it happens. If it means supporting an immoral, bigoted, and disgusting person to fulfill their desires then they will look the other way when it comes to character, corruption, morality.

I think the biggest factors these days in politics has become religion (which has not business in politics in my opinion), race (sadly it is reality), and culture (fear their culture is under attack).

The following graph shows the reality of America in terms of racial equality. I find it amazing that so many actually deny the fact that racism is systemic in America. I think it is obvious when I think about my life experience. I was born in 1950. At that time 90% of America was white, now in 2026 about 65% of America is white. That reflect cultural changes just over my lifetime.

3. And if it were not for lying Fox News it would be much worse.

4. Its not just when they get something they want

Trump's first term ended up as a total disaster for everybody and the MAGAs still worshipped him. There could be bread lines from coast to coast and they would say we were in utopia.

5. Given how the GOP has been doing in elections

This year, I believe those polls that have him in the mid 30s more.
