While far from perfect, MSNOW is all we got on cable network "News."

7. We stopped watching MS NOW as well. Just so sick of the American infotainment model.

We (we live in Sweden) watch (when we watch telly news) SVT (Swedish national public telly), BBC, DW (Deutsche Welle), France 24, and Euronews.

14. Can you dump cable and just stream?

That's really the way to go. Then find something that carries MS Now. They don't want it to be easy for us to find it, so we dig and find it anyway. They have a great lineup of hosts and reporters, and they covered No Kings all over the country yesterday with reporters in several cities. I watched most of the day just for that.

Sung want to get the local news and weather for both. One is steaming over the air and on my Samsung tv that can only get Samsung tv. The other is Buckeye Cable basic. It pretty much sucks and is expensive. I could get a bunch of channels I’d like but refuse to pay those premiums.
Being old and retired with limited income, ain’t a gonna do it. I might get lucky some day and strike it rich. I’m an amateur treasure hunter and you never know

4. Safe bet that the 8 or 9 million who turned out will not get as much press as the 100k who went to Kirk's funeral.

Not in ANY of the legacy media. Which is why we need to support those outlets that do report on actual events.

8. There was plenty of live coverage on CNN throughout the day. And, it did not seem slanted.

Just for kicks, I'd flip over to Fox. Not a mention of it, and many commercials (seemingly more than CNN or MS-NOW).
