Edited to add: This works on Windows PCs, not sure of Macs, and not for smart phones.

Ctrl+A = Highlight All
Ctrl+C = Copy Highlighted
Then in Word: Ctrl+V = Paste

The formatting is screwy, but the article text content is there. Sometime it works, sometimes not. You have to be very fast with the Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C (before the block of the article happens)

Ugh my bad. It’s PasteBin I’ve seen before. I guess PastePad works the same.

I use pastebin when it doesn't refuse to paste and host text.
In those cases, I use https://rentry.co instead.

Thanks for the tip!

I so hate paywalls.

It’s a good tool!

EDIT: Rentry has a super clean interface. I like that!

Rentry doesn't red flag text (must be some keywords) and refuse to post (so far, anyway)

I personally save articles as pdf, filtered through one of Firefox's print style sheets (almost always very good)

My saved articles mostly look like plaih TeX/LaTeX documents, extremely readable.

I'm big on readability.

Too bad it's so hard to find a free pdf host. I got spoiled for running several corporate/university internet-facing systems, and I'm too cheap to pay for my own. (and then having to pay for DDOS protection)

Beats straightening up the kitchen (and rearranging things in the living room).

But I'll attend to them first.

Thanks for the leads.
