'Go get your own oil!' The U.K. gets to experience what it was like when young Donny threw rocks at babies in cribs

President Donald Trump erupted at the United Kingdom Tuesday morning over its refusal to join the United States in its war against Iran, issuing the European nation a notice that the United States would no longer be offering it “help.”

“All of those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you: Number 1, buy from the U.S., we have plenty, and Number 2, build up some delayed courage, go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.

“You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us. Iran has been, essentially, decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil!”

=The Trump administration has reportedly grown increasingly panicked as the U.S. war against Iran has sparked a dramatic surge
in oil prices. Trump has also grown frustrated as his calls for other countries to assist in the United States’ war efforts have gone on to be ignored.

MBS and Bibi, Trump's puppet masters.,

Somehow that's "concerning" to me.

and already imports mostly from the US and Norway: https://www.statista.com/statistics/381963/crude-oil-and-natural-gas-import-origin-countries-to-united-kingdom-uk/

USA 16,234 (1,000 metric tons)
Norway 13,784
Libya 4,040
...
UAE 388
...

It's all fungible, of course, so prices have gone up. But the "buy from the U.S." shows he hasn't the fuck of an idea of what the UK trade is anyway. It's really "please put some of your ships in danger, to decrease the world oil and gas prices, because those affect the price in the USA too, and I have mid-terms coming up! Get me out of this hole I dug myself and screwed the world with!"

(and even won once), I can confidently say Mr. trump's doing a fantastic job of recreating the exact same strategy: big stack on one border, glare intensely at the neighbor, and insist it’s purely “defensive.” Classic move. Waiting for trump's next tantrum when he flips the table over and pieces fly everywhere.

They want to get the most “bang for their bucks.” If we had a Democratic administration, maybe they would change that. Now the administration cheers them on for being good “greedy” bastards.
