What is non-fiction writing coming to?

Here are selections from the current NYT Non-Fiction best-sellers list, each of which addresses pressing issues of our time . . . right?

#1. STRIPPED DOWN. The host of the “Dumb Blonde Podcast” shares how redemption was an important part of reaching her goals.

#4. KIDS, WAIT TILL YOU HEAR THIS!, by Liza Minnelli, as told to Michael Feinstein, with Josh Getlin and Heidi Evans.

#8 KILLED TO ORDER, by Jan Jekielek. (Skyhorse.) A senior editor of The Epoch Times shares his views on the Chinese Communist Party and its practices. (Senior editor of “The Epoch Times” – now there’s an unbiased source.)

# 10 TOLD YOU SO, by Mayci Neeley. (Simon & Schuster.) The star of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” describes how she grew up Mormon and challenges she faced as an adult. –

# 13 THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD, by Alice Hoffman. (Scribner.) Fourteen essays by authors paying tribute to their canine companions.

Many people buy and/or read schlocky stuff. I use best seller lists to know what not to read for the most part.
