That ugly bastard doesn't have anything to do with this event, thankfully. I wish a safe trip to the astronauts. The launch window is 6:24-8:24 PM. I'll be watching online. I hear that Couchboy may make an appearance. Hopefully he'll be ignored.

the craft and they were concerned about the heat shield tiles and more concerned that they weren't being listened to. I hope whatever it was has been remedied.

But behind the scenes you can rest assured that everything possible is done to test all parts of the spacecraft. My son is a software engineer on the Artemis program at KSC, and his group will be conducting a synchronized simulation in the room next to the launch team's. Prior to today, they have been doing periodic simulations throughout the year. I spoke to him last night and he said his biggest worry is that he'll be able to get through the traffic jam to get to work today.
