If you've never tried their cheese, you are missing out on some of the best you can buy. If you're into spicy cheeses, their "Spicy Colby Jack" sliced cheese or their "Spicy Mexican Blend" shredded cheese are both...uh,uh,uh..spicy

We were at the factory towards the end of August last year, and they were sold out of the spicy cheeses.

watch the three-part series that Ken Burns did on Henry David Thoreau. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Thoreau is one of my heroes. The last 5 minutes at the end of Part 3 shows how off course we have gotten from learning Thoreau's lessons about nature, the environment and what constitutes a good life.

27. I worked down at my local pub...

last night. I pick up a few shifts here and there. Most locals are pretty moderate to left leaning. The owner is very left as are most of us staff. None are happy with Kier Starmer (nor am I), but do appreciate his vehemence in keeping us out of this quagmire. Anyway I digress…
As I walked in for my shift last evening, one of our regulars was in. Hadn’t seen him for awhile and I do like him quite a lot. He’s a retired police officer, comes in once a month nowadays, downs about 10 pints of ale and then his delightful wife comes to fetch him. Anyway, he says to me “it’s decided, you’re just British now [cue other locals nodding in agreement]. We can’t have you associated with that lump of shit any longer. Make sure they let you leave the next time you’re in the US, or we’ll get the local MP involved.”
I chuckled. We then discussed the absolute degradation in the relationship between the two countries. Such a shame really.

32. Oh man, I hear ya!!!! That's my go to Tillamook flavor, too.

I can never seem to get just one carton, so I end up with another couple of their flavors. I like Oregon Dark Cherry for a change of pace and I’m a sucker for Peanut Butter & Chocolate. For crying out loud, life is too short not to indulge in ice cream and since we are stuck living through Drumpf, treats are a must on a regular basis. 😊
