The Thing

I just finished watching John Carpenter's movie after at least 20 years and boy I wasn't disappointed, unlike when I watched the prequel. I was afraid that I would be underwhelmed by the special effects but was amazed by how well they aged. More realistic and creepy than a lot of CGI gore we've seen lately.

I had a lot of fun and it wasn't entirely because of nostalgia.

"The Thing from Another World".

It is a solid movie, with good actors, and decent enough effects for the era, and a bit creepier in B&W.
