MSNOW is on in the background. No ads. Checked.

It appears the spinoff has lower revenues. Guardian says higher viewership, but streaming services often have to find fillers.
We are older folks, as a rule.
We are thinkers who peel back layers.
Not sure our replacements do.
We are in a social upheaval; I prefer to hold my bets.
Grifters are taking advantage of our inability to stop them.
Not sanguine as we go forward.

For close to a year, MSNBC/MSNOW has had very few commercials when streamed on Hulu. Instead, they run endless repetitions of a very few PSAs, or just go to an animated screen saying they will be right back.

I received several responses that said they weren’t seeing the same thing on other providers; they were seeing commercials as usual.

I swear, if I never see the Covenant House “toxic dirts of fear”, or Maya Angelou “profundity” PSAs again it will be too soon.

It's happening during the day and during prime time. I have even seen a situation where an ad was running and it was interrupted to show either an ad for MS NOW, or just the "We'll be right back" screen.

But I've noticed it while it was still MSNBC.
Accessing high level vocabulary is getting more difficult.
