Crushed while trying to stop France from taking its own gold from the NY Fed Reserve?
Heartbroken that he didn't get to murder 93 million people?
Killed by any of ~8B people in an act of wholly-justified self-defense?'
Just fucking died already for literally any--ANY--reason at all?

(38,370 posts)I oppose both military coups as well as assassinations I'm somewhat unwilling to believe that all 8 billion of us, as well as the thousands of high ranking military officers we have are all like me.
The problem in terms of a coup is that engineering one because one has sworn to defend the Constitution and not a small minded dementia ridden pedophile is a contradiction in terms.
The US Constitution has functioned amazingly well for more than two centuries with occasional hiccups but it's showing its age. This isn't a hiccup. This is choking on an obstructed airway. There isn't a Heimlich maneuver that can save it at this point to push the metaphor further than justified.
The bigger problem is that in the internet age there is no body of enlightened political thinkers to correspond to the fellows who crowded into Independence hall in the late 18th century, certainly not in a nation that voted a criminal ignorant unintelligent pervert to lead it.

(27,110 posts)Man goes to the newsstand.
Picks up a newspaper, and looks at the front page. Puts it back down.
Day 2: Repeats the same thing.
Day 3: Repeats the same action. This time as he puts the paper back down the Newsstand Operator asks him: "What are you looking for?
Man: "The obituaries.".
Operator: "They're in the back, not on the front page.".
Man: "This one will.".
