The end of the Trump presidency

The Iran war will go down as the biggest blunder in the history of the United States. Most everyone will sour on this as prices will not come down for a while. It will vied as a loss and the fact that we could wield power by our military strength will be diminished.
We ruined our relationships. Trump will never be the same.

With Trump or Vance rather than the qualified Democratic candidate because they don’t like his or her laugh/spouse/whatever.

I have heard MAGA people say that they love Trump because "he tells it like it is." What they should say is "Trump tells it like I think it is." There is a clear confirmation bias that turns Trump's frequent and blatant lies into "truths" for these low-information voters.

I remember a student I had in a leadership seminar back when Hillary Clinton was running against Trump. She said to a classmate that she could never vote for Hillary because she couldn't stand her voice. I couldn't help saying "have you listened to Donald Trump speak?"

Iran appears to want to slow phase in their toll plan. We are talking 20ish ships a day. That's a huge drop in prewar traffic. Oil prices will remain elevated throughout 2026 at this rate.

We have just begun to feel oil lead inflation.

In the past, whenever oil prices spiked, a major recession began about a year later.

So, watch out beginning the spring of 2027!

Trump is Trump and will never change. America, as seen by everyone else in the world, has changed, and will need to remain in this new state. I guess being more humble is a good thing.

. . . with ur last statement.

Trump will ALWAYS be the same. He will not, he cannot, change. This is who he is.

Let’s hope his reputation, the worship of him, and his influence will never be the same. I’m hoping the Grim Reaper takes him soon.

will be reminded that Trump is responsible for the massive inflation across the board that is eating up their wallet.

Trump is not going to walk away from the mess he has made this time. He is going to be the Lame Duck that no one has ever seen before.

Once when the bluster can no longer cover up the fact that Trump has now agreed that Iran has won, and we got our butt kicked, people will not be so quick to bend the knee to a LOSER.

Also, with the 25th Amendment now in play, why would anyone make a deal with a lame duck that could be gone next month?

Until Gulf producers are goddamn sure this thing is over, the only movement will be storage oil and gas. On the water in tankers or in onshore storage to be loaded into tankers. The wells will not flow until they're confident Shitler or someone else won't do something else glactically stupid. Also, the careful choreography of tanker and LNG carrier traffic is thrown to the wind. It will take weeks to months to get that back to normal WHEN normal production restarts.

But, not yet. Trump may be down, but he's not out. It's going to take a complete collapse of his power before he resigns dramatically.

The mid-term elections might do it. If he could possibly lose both the Senate and the House, he would lose any chance of doing much of anything. The House will be flipped, I'm pretty sure, but the Senate is very iffy. We will see.

If both houses go, though, he'll be helpless and unable to do anything much. That will make him very angry. Eventually, I think he will resign abruptly, calling everyone he can name just about anything he can think of. If J.D.Vance, becomes President, then things will go no better for him and he doesn't have the same loyalty from Republicans Trump has. At that point, it will be downhill all the way for Republicans.

But, none of that is going to happen very soon, I think.

The biggest blunder in the history of America was allowing trump to sieze power a second time. His Iran war is barely a blip next to that.
