MSNOW laying out what evidence it has confirmed about Swalwell

Mychael Schnell told Alex Witt that she has spoken to the alleged victim who provided a medical report from a practitioner who called her a strong survivor (I guess in the report) and text messages. The text message that Schnell elaborated on was during the time frame of the alleged attack, but was not between Swalwell and the victim. It was between the victim and a friend, and the victim told the friend about the alleged attack.

I also wanted to add that MSNOW led with a videotaped, unilateral denial from Eric Swalwell. I did think that he seems sincere in his denial. But of course, that's subjective, and I really have no idea what to think at this point.

Right there with you.

And did you notice, the rules only apply to Democrats, not to them? Case in point, the felon in chief.

The earliest allegation dates to 2019, meaning republicans would have had to plant an operative on Swallwell’s staff six years before he decided to run for governor.

Republicans would have also had to have planted three other staffers to make “false” accusations, and also plant four staffers to work faithfully until this week, and then quit once the news broke.

Republicans may take advantage of this scandal, but they didn’t create it.

be a record of both parties staying at the hotel and maybe security video at least showing them walking through the lobby. Something concrete to at least put them in the same place.

and pls remember it is easy to spoof phone numbers. ruskie are especially great at hacking.

I've read Manson Eyes patel has been "looking for dirt on Swalwell," so maybe he manufactured some...

Smells like rat fuckery to me and, imo, repukes have NO room to point fingers as their party leader is an adjudicated rapist and 34-count felon.

Tell them to fuck off.

Swalwell has been very outspoken about Kraznov, hence, this dirty attack, imo.

Could be wrong on that, but I'm pretty sure I read that.

What a nest of rat fuckery.

Bottom line is Swalwell has bn outspoken about kraznov, hence this dirty attack, imo.

I do not live in CA, so I don't get to vote there. Jmho.

So the texts could be corroborated or denied by the person being spoofed if spoofing was happening.

Five years later, the woman said, she attended an April 2024 charity gala where Swalwell was honored. The woman, who no longer worked for Swalwell, said they met for drinks afterward, during which she became so inebriated that she remembers only snippets of the night, including pushing Swalwell away and telling him, “No,” while he allegedly forced himself on her.

The woman texted a friend three days later that she was “sexually assaulted” by Swalwell. She wrote in a series of messages reviewed by the Chronicle that she had “blacked out” but “woke up once during it and even told him to stop at one point.”

“This happened one other time when I was working with him, but I convinced myself I was an equal party in it even though same pattern: I blacked out and he had sex with me,” she wrote, referring to the 2019 incident.

The Chronicle spoke with the friend and the woman’s then-boyfriend, whom she said she told about the alleged 2024 assault when she got home the next day. Both described her as still disoriented that morning, and her then-boyfriend said he encouraged her to report Swalwell to the police.

It's making me so angry I can hardly type.

This is a job he's applying for. I don't want him working for me. It's as simple as that.

"Wait and see" is for when he's tried in court. If he ever is.

Apparently a lot of very respectable California Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi, agree.

If there is credible evidence of rape, Swalwell should be charged and a jury decide if the evidence overcomes the presumption of innocence.
