Who are you trying to reach?
Sen. Mark Warner ( who is outstanding ) was on Face The Nation this morning. He briefly mentioned that t is allowing Russia to receive millions now from once banned oil revenue. A perfect time to pound the table about putin using that money to upgrade its satellite system so that they can provide Iran with even more exact locations on our troops, and ask how is this not treason.
If Biden had done this , the republicans would literally, literally, be screaming.because they know how fear and outrage reaches people who normally don’t vote. Sen. Warner, you’re not trying to reach anyone on this platform. The democratic party needs to reach people who rarely vote, and the legitimate use of outrage can do that , but this constant measured tone by so many in our party just stays within our bubble. Republicans will lie on their parent’s graves to stoke fear and outrage because they know it works. Democrats can legitimately, I repeat, legitimately use fear and outrage but choose not to. Of course projecting realistic optimism is important, but we need to use every tool that’s available to us. Every tool.
We have so very many truly brilliant people in our party, and yet, our messaging sucks.

The United States needs a complete purge of that garbage from its' system.
