(319,443 posts)ETA~ Educated guess.. SS has swept that under her rug.
QueerDuck
(1,807 posts)... and everyone sees her for the toxic, self-absorbed, virtue-signaling, hypocrite in an ivory tower that she actually is.
She has RUINED the Rocky Horror Picture Show for me. I can't enjoy it any more. I hate her and everything she stands for... and her lies.

(1,041 posts)Any MAGA who still support him could only be doing it because They're racists. After WWII, people in France, the Netherlands, other countries that had been occupied by the Nazis, people shunned and disowned anyone who had collaborated with the Nazis. We're going to have to do that here.
When Trump is done, don't just go back to normal relationships with your former family and friends who supported MAGA. They should be ostracized. And tell them why. I have relatives who died fighting in Europe and Trump and Vance openly support AfD. I also had relatives who fought in Vietnam and Trump and Vance are choosing the Russians over our allies. Plus, the obviously racist misogynist shit is inexcusable.
Anybody who supports Trump and MAGA after everything that has already happened and even now what has come out about the tariffs, the Epstein files, Jan 6th, the pardons, the Iran attack, is obviously only supporting him for the sexism and racism.
They can all go to hell.

(23,588 posts)He's closer to Soprano than he is to Don Corleone.
The Don Corleone character had a meticulously cultivate "air of respectability." Part of that, obviously, came from having law enforcement and judges on the payroll.
But Tony was a hedonist, a glutton, a guy who could be a truly soft-spoken family man who fell in love with the ducks that gathered around his swimming pool, but in a heartbeat, he could be cruel, ruthless, filled with rage.
And obviously, MOST of that describes Trump, with the OBVIOUS exclusion of "soft-spoken family man." He'd also probably shoot any ducks that came to see him, or would order one of his goons to do it for him.
Maybe we can swap that out for "loves to play the invisible accordion."
