Pope Leo for president, 2028!

He doesn't take shit from anybody, has far more respect in the US and worldwide than the repuqs will ever have.

And Catholic Republican voters wouldn't feel like traitors by voting for a Democrat, because he could run as an independent!

Even the non-Catholics believe in his message of love over war.

I know, the question is, am I serious. I can't answer that question tonight, but it is an interesting thought.

That the cult of MAGA might be supportive of.

Trump is probably the least religious person EVER elected to the presidency, and ran as a Republican.

The Pope can run as an independent, and might peel off some of the magats that would NEVER vote for a Democrat.

I have always respected and appreciated your posts Ocelet II, and I don't want or expect you to agree with me all the time, but I think this could be a game changer.

That being said, know I a strong agnostic/atheist, but I'm ready to try anything to defeat the current occupant and his sycophants!

And why would he? He is vastly more influential in his current position than any mere president ever could be, and that influence is international and not term limited.

The message of “Jesus” was to transcend the things of this world. We have enough people who want to be politicians. The Pope definitely has moral clarity in this round concerning war, but, if he were to be a politician, you would quickly be reminded of the stances of the church that you would dislike.

living his life according to his own measure. Though should anyone present objective evidence contrary to that, I'd be fascinated to see it.
