and they aren't close to the best possible replacement.
One of the items for voters to weigh is who will replace the President should something dire happen or in case of adminitrative or political necessity. The Constitution and Congress established a list of positions in order of who should be next in line to the Presidency. Until 2024, Presidents DID take into account people who, as possible successors to the Presidency, were educated, competent and experienced to continue the job. Those selections today were poorly made by Trump and his Republican cohorts.
The people Trump and Republican Congressional Politicians selected run the gamut from washed up, incompetent politicians and judges to inept, greedy billionaires and bumbling, poorly educated Right Wing TV personalities, nearly all of whom have little to no political or even educational experience to be able to make the necessary decisions to competently run the country for us.
America, this is a list of those questionable and/or unqualified Right Wing Politicians, entertainers, mostly greedy corporate billionaire shills and rejects who Trump selected, Republicans and many Democrats approved who could someday become President of the United States and have unlimited Supreme Court decided control over you and your family's lives. These are the people you DIDN'T vote for but could decide how you might live. Do you want them making decisions about you and your family's lives? Are these the people you would want running the country in the event an incompetent, greedy, insane, uncaring man was removed from or died in that office? Be careful for whom you vote. The wrong choice could cost you more than you might imagine.
If you're not familiar with some and their "quaifications", I suggest you look them up.

If DJT is removed by impeachment or 25th Amendment, JD becomes POTUS and then appoints a successor to serve as Vice President who must then be approved by a majority of Congress. That person does not need to be currently in Congress either. JD would not be obligated to choose anyone from the Cabinet list.
