I can never trust another Republican that voted for Trump.

To me, they hate my country. They hate America.

It makes me sad to see what they have done. Most do not see anything but good from Trump. I do not see anything but bad.

How can such a large number of people be so cruel and so ignorant of what is happening under their noses.

It's going to take a long time for us to heal ourselves, in my opinion.

Stupid too for deliberately destroying the country they live in.

I could almost see the $$$ gleaming in his eyes.

He is retired and has time to play the stock market. He was replaying the Faux Nooz line re Iran but we somehow got on the topic of stocks and how much money he is making playing the market. (It wasn't a long conversation, I was about to be late for work so I was just trying to get intel on WTF he is thinking, without giving much back. Yikes.)

Someone like this will NEVER see, nor care, about the human cost of the TSF regime. (and oh btw he is 'Catholic' and goes to 'church' every Sunday.)

Most don’t even care.

I don’t talk politics with my trumper sister but yesterday she said she was watching something about the Strait of Hormuz. I assume it was Fox, then she asks me what I thought about it. Told her what I thought and it went right over her head. She had no idea about the JCPOA. Never heard of it. This is just one instance, but I rest my case.

You can’t fix stupid.

Assuming, of course, that they unwaveringly turned against him from that point on. Some people legitimately evolve once their eyes become open to reality. But there absolutely could be no hiding from the truth from that day forward.

The hate for others is actually hate for oneself, projected.

A strong person lifts others up.
A weak person seeks to cut others down to their low life-state.

Check out the positive and negative leaders you see in politics, work, life and even in religion.

That is why they portray Jesus as an evil monster, to "legitimize" their cult gospel of hate and lies.

How should one feel about these cult members? They joined voluntarily. They spread the lies and hate. They will not turn from them. Denial is trait number one.

They want to find out the hard way.
Speaking of which:

Harboring anger is like swallowing poison and expecting the other person to die.

They love a White Nationalist America cleansed of brown immigrants, blacks aren't uppity, gays stay in the closet, and women obey the patriarchy.

They claim to be patriots, but will shred our Constitution to suit their agenda.

They call it "Christian" nationalism, but that is a cloak of religiosity to mask their evil and gaslight the rubes.

through three elections. Before the 2024 election I was in a zoom meeting with him and another Trumper. Their take was they hoped Trump would get elected so he could set things right that had been so screwed up under President Biden. They acknowledged that I probably didn't feel that way. I avoid political discussions because of 1) how strongly I feel about the stupidity of their positions and 2) being afraid of not being able to constrain voicing my thoughts once I get started, so I just said I hoped he didn't win. Fast forward to April 9th, 2026. I was in a zoom meeting with this same coworker and out of the blue he said:

XXXXXXXXXX, Apr 9, 1:57 PM
I'm voting democrat in the midterms because it doesn't matter I want them to burn it all down and impeach Trump
Crazy huh

You, Apr 9, 1:59 PM
Yes, I wasn't going to say anything because I value our friendship.
Your family has a lot on the line.
I've thought about that a lot.

XXXXXXXXXX, Apr 9, 2:00 PM
Thankfully, YYYYYYYYYY's position keeps her at Pendleton, even when her unit gets deployed.... so far. 🤞🏻
ZZZZZZZZZZ didn't re-up

You, Apr 9, 2:02 PM
Good.

XXXXXXXXXX, Apr 9, 2:03 PM
He did join the Kansas National Guard but who knows if they'll get sent anywhere. He got a job at USPS fixing their vehicles and equipment.
He works at their main repair hub in Topeka

You, Apr 9, 2:03 PM
good for him.
The national guard might be deployed to protect ICE anywhere in the US.

XXXXXXXXXX, Apr 9, 2:04 PM
ICE isn't happening.... another Trump TACO lol
And even if he does get deployed internally it's a lot better than getting deployed to the sh!t hole that we (and a certain other country) created in the ME
The country that SHALL NOT BE NAMED! lol

This is quite a change in attitude from him. I don't know if he'll follow through with voting Democratic or not but wow, I never thought he would turn on Trump judging how firmly his lips were planted on Trump's ass in 2024. But hey, if he can turn on the Republican party, any of them can.

I never have trusted any republican, at any level, who has voted for the felon. I have a casual friend who is now retired, after serving in state government. He served in the manner of what we once knew as a "Rockefeller republican." He was helpful in assisting Chief Waterman and I in preserving an ancient Iroquois burial ground when a construction company owner wanted to mine it for gravel. and helped me get people moved off sites contaminiated by toxic industrial waste. He knows the president is an ass clown, and refused to vote for him. But his type is rare.

As far as citizens who previously voted for the felon, but now recognize that was an error, I can forgive them. But trust? I have no reason to trust them.
