Polls of Democrats don't matter since it is a jungle primary.

I don't vote in California, so I'm happy as long as we don't elect a rapist.

8. Xavier Becerra is coming on strong now. We've gotten 3 mailers

just recently and his ad just ran on MS NOW.

The mailers are great. Here are some quotes.

“From working with President Obama to pass the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) to fighting Trump and winning, no candidate for governor has delivered for us like Democrat Xavier Becerra.”

“Democrat Xavier Becerra sued Donald Trump 122 times, and won for California.”

Becerra is a former California Attorney General and U.S. Health Secretary.

I’ll try and write more later. He is very impressive. I’m so glad to see him surging. He seems to have a very professional demeanor, much more so than a couple other candidates.

11. San Jose Mayor is polling under five

Saw a couple of commercials for him during playoffs (NBA, maybe NHL)

Concerned that the tech bros. are funding him to be a spoiler.

Steyer seems to be fairly solid to make the runoff, although he did a commercial with a huge unforced error. (Prentended he didn't know the cameras were on while being asked "tough" questions)

If the election was tomorrow I would go with Beccara.

Porter was my Rep., and I thought she was great as a Congressperson, but didn't like how she handled the loss to Adam Schiff for Senate. I get why she dropped out of the House, district was redrawn and she was far from safe after the redisricting. Crazy thing is, after the mid census redistricting, her district is almost back to the same state as when she served.
