Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer will step down from the Trump administration to take a job in the private sector, according to a statement posted Monday by White House communications director Steven Cheung.

“Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer will be leaving the Administration to take a position in the private sector. She has done a phenomenal job in her role by protecting American workers, enacting fair labor practices, and helping Americans gain additional skills to improve their lives,” Cheung said.

Keith Sonderling will serve as acting secretary of the Department of Labor, Cheung added.

5. Labor oversees Missing and Exploited Children

Per Google:

The Department of Labor (DOL) oversees cases of exploited children primarily to enforce the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which prohibits oppressive child labor and hazardous work conditions. The DOL investigates violations where minors are illegally employed, forced into dangerous jobs, or trafficked for labor, working to protect them from exploitation.

Now there’s even less Epstein expertise.

Do a phenomenal job by protecting American workers, enacting fair labor practices, and helping Americans gain skills? Because it has to be the opposite since all they do is lie.

Drinking and cheating on the job, needed to do some more grifting to keep the job though.

The reason SHE lost the job...I wonder ????

She's not even the most amazing Labor Secretary to have ever held the position, implementing the President's historic engagement with the great American worker more effectively than any other Labor Secretary in history?

She must have been a real dud, apart from the boozing, schmoozing, and canoodling with the underlings, which seems to be a common trait among these cafoni.

"In the the two months prior to April 20, 2026, President Trump’s Cabinet saw three female members leave their positions following performance issues or scandals. These included the firing of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem (March 5) and Attorney General Pam Bondi (early April), along with the resignation of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer (April 20)."

I just read comments on YouTube and realized how drinking, drugs, and sex is rampant in the most morally bankrupt and financially corrupt administration in US history. Where the hell do they find all these degenerates? Who confirms them? Is this the "best of the best" or the "worst of the worst"?

Obviously you must be a horny, imbecilic druggie to even be considered for any appointments in the tRump regime.

Please, Dear God!

She was already in trouble, from what I’ve read. I sure hope she stays somewhere on the East Coast. I DO NOT want her coming back to Oregon.

This makes me think of a book I enjoyed as a kid: “Shelley Berman’s Cleans and Dirties”. It was one of my dad’s bathroom books, when my age was in single digits. I found it while snooping one day, and read some of it, and was absolutely captivated!

All the one-liners in there illustrated the G-rated versions of various terms and expressions, along with - um - NON-G-rated terms. Like “fired” or “dismissed” instead of “shit-canned”, and so forth. In Lori Chavez-DeRemer’s case, let’s just say she got flushed.

Sure seems just the opposite. He likes losers, apparently. How many loser admin has he personally picked, that either quit, or got fired? I quit counting.

This admin has totally lost it and screwed all of us. Gee, I heard gas went back up today. I wonder who we can blame that on?
