Elizbeth Warren's questioning of Fed nominee Warsh took my breath away

Talk about truth to power. When she finished, (and the nicest thing she had to say about him was he was trump's sock puppet), republican Tim Scott was speechless and the rest of the Rs were audibly gasping.

I'm not much of an economist, but two things he said were disqualifying in my book. He would not agree that trump lost the election against Biden. He could not name one thing he disagreed with trump about. He did try to answer that question with some non-funny R humor though. He said that he disagreed with trump's assessment that he (Warsh) was out of "central casting" for a Fed chair. He said that if he was, he would have more gray hair and be smoking a cigar. I guess kind of a "humble brag" way of saying that he is too young and good looking to be a stereotypical Fed char.

He also said that trump NEVER asked him to commit to lowering rates although it has been reported that trump did ask him.

I also noticed that not one R contradicted the truthfulness of anything she said. They were shocked but they had nothing.

With on-their-face disqualifying answers that the R's will have extreme difficulty justifying.
And can be used for depositions and lawsuits when we regain control.

Off topic, but James Talarico is a former teacher as well. Teaching is a great training ground for communication skills.

Hell, they would kiss his ass in public before voting for him if Trump so ordered.
