there is a sub zero chance BOTH the US House and the US Senate will vote by 2/3rds each to keep him removed.

Plus, of course, Trump's own shitbox shitshow of a cabinet is full of boot-lickers, cult members, mushroom milkers, and all-round sycophantic worms, so it is massively doubtful that soft-boy Vance could get enough of them to flip on 'grandpa the lard-ass, rapey gangster, con man, and extraordinarily stupid and mental wanker' in the first place.

Trump is their god emperor. Most in his cabinet worship him, literally, as do tens of millions of armed, violent, hateful, moronic, racist, sexist, greedy, small fry (but think they are big fry) MAGAts spread all over the nation (including far too large swathes of the US military, both active and retired/reserves).

that's what people were saying here before Trump's 'victory'. I said 'don't win-wash, keep working' and people here admonished me.

Uh huh.

And those results are backed up by virtually all reputable observer/analysts and election officials.

Respectfully ... Not sure where you were getting your figures from - but you should take another look ? Because what you presented doesn't square with the truth on 2024 results.

He wants more power, and it's all that's keeping him and his family out of prison. And he's not finished wrecking America for Vladdy.

It's the whole damn reason he ran for a second term. Of course, he'll stay put. As long as he's in office, he's pretty much safe from any sort of prosecution.

Oh, and FUCK YOU John Robarts and you merry band of corrupt toadies for giving us this shit. May you all get what you deserve.

He's "sticking around" because he knows the second he leaves office the SEC will have his ass for market manipulation and insider trading, the IRS will come after him for tax evasion, his prosecutable ties to Jeffrey Epstein will be fully exposed, and about a kajillion heavily-armed MAGAts who bet their retirement savings on his cryptocurrency and lost it all will come looking for him.

By remaining president he shields himself from all that, which is why he's working so hard to try to figure out how to get a third term.

16. He will stick around for the grift

The only reason I can see him willingly resigning is if he becomes so disabled he can't appear on TV, or if someone convinces him he can't self pardon. The latter is extremely unlikely at best since there's no way to prove a president can't self pardon until it gets tested.

So he'll stick it out to the bitter end unless he's literally drooling uncontrollably or similar.

Then because he's been grifting and stealing, he will pardon himself preemptively for anything and fight any efforts to bring him to justice until he shuffles off this mortal coil.
