Hung Cao is now the Acting Secretary of the Navy in the wake of SECDEF Kegbreath firing John Phelan.

Hung Cao is a retired Naval Captain, a former Navy SEAL, and a raving nutcase. Here is the Wikipedia introduction to him.

Cao was born on August 3, 1971, in Saigon, South Vietnam. His father, Quan Cao, from Quảng Trị province, worked in South Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and was assistant to the deputy prime minister. Quan Cao had been an international student in the Philippines having been granted a scholarship from the Rockefeller Foundation, before earning a Ph.D. at Cornell University. In 1975, at age 4, Hung Cao went to the United States with his family as refugees. Cao spent some of his childhood living in Niger, where his father served as an agricultural specialist for USAID. He returned to the U.S. at age 12 and was a member of the first graduating class of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia.

In 2022 He ran for Congress from Virginia’s 10th District and lost. In 2024 he challenged Senator Tim Kaine and lost.

 Hung Cao said he would take down members of Congress “with a platoon.”
 Hung Cao requested that he be given a KKK hood with “the little slits and not the circles so I can see better.”

So -- in the midst of a war that is being prosecuted 95% by the Navy, we dump the unqualified guy in favor of the raving lunatic.
