Apr 26, 2026
A police officer who defended the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 sued the right-wing website The Blaze over their publication of a conspiracy theory falsely accusing her of attempting to set the pipe bombs the day before the insurrection. Officer Shauni Kerkhoff is represented by the same legal team that helped Dominion Voting Systems win a $787.5 million settlement against Fox News. The lawsuit tells the shocking story about how certain corners of the Trump administration took the fevered 'fedsurrection' theory seriously, upending Kerkhoff's life in the process. Journalist Jacqueline Sweet joins Adam Klasfeld of All Rise News.

(3,896 posts)Glenn Beck get "Alex Jonesed". After all, the Blaze is pretty much the same as InfoWars. 1) Continuously publish bullshit articles 2) Constantly tell people to "Do their own research".
3) People do their research on the internet and wind up at the Blaze or InfoWars, confirming their belief in horseshit.

(2,457 posts)in his speech after the so-called assassination attempt that he was continuously and almost gratuitously, smothering the Police, FBI and Secret Service with constant praise, over and over and over/???????????????
I guess he was trying to overshadow the damage done to him by the Ice/Border Patrol killing peaceful protestors, and to fortify the police who were starting to question him......

(598 posts)The contract Trump had for his January 6, 2021 rally prohibited them from approaching the Capitol Building so how could the FBI or the police plan to attack rally goers who were supposed to be prohibited from being there? Trump got his people all wound up and then he TOLD THEM to go to the Capitol Building. That's why Trump was impeached for all of that.
