2. Or have competent security

How does someone get that close to the room with a gun? Ask yourself that. At a football game they have metal detectors far outside the stadium yet here where there are a number of government officials someone got outside the room with a weapon?

4. The WHCD has been a tradition since 1921 but now we're supposed to build his ballroom because chaos follows him

He has created this chaos. I hate that this is the atmosphere we live in and believe the best way to rid ourselves of him and his policies are by the way of the ballot box 🗳️. Having said that, there will be those who choose another direction and security is a top priority for everyone because of the plague of gun violence for elected officials, school children and the rest of us just going about our business. Once again, even with this event last night, the first thing is a knee jerk reaction..his ballroom will fix the problem!

5. Not His Decision to Make

The White House Correspondents Association gets to decide where and when they hold their event. The event is held to honor journalism and the First Amendment - not Trump. I wish that they would announce that they will be rescheduling the dinner at the Hilton, but the Fuhrer is not invited - too big a security risk.

6. trump has the DOJ sending a letter to the plaintiffs in the ballroom lawsuit

This idiot DOJ lawyer should be embarrassed for signing his name to this letter

You’d think the acting AG would be prioritizing justice after an apparent mass shooting attempt involving top officials in our government, but he seems more focused on getting Donald Trump’s ballroom built—something that has nothing to do with last night’s event.
