Prepare and protect yourself
Dear DU'ers,
If you haven't already started preparing for power outages, bank closures and food shortages--at least for a few days, please do.
Stock up on: batteries, candles, canned and dry food (on sale or in bulk), water, pet supplies, a battery powered radio, iodine, buckets, and minimal first aid supplies.
Have cash on hand -- especially in small denominations because you may not be able to get change and you may want to give out to others in need.
Trade with neighbors, if you make extra food - post on neighborhood social media.
I have found: Michael Bordenaro and Michael Bordenaro Clips on You Tube very helpful. He gives out advice on economics, budgets, real estate, jobs, debt, cars, etc.
