Up until the fake assassination many of the MAGA world was turning on tRump due to affordability and Iran.

Once a fake assassination attempt is made they all do a 180 and support their dear leader once again. Many of these same people questioned the validity of the 2 previous assassination attempts, including Marge Greene.

Do NOT ever rely on his base or the GOP as a whole when you read current polls. Sleep with the lights on because they will never really go away for long.

2. I suspect that won't last as the biggest debacle instigated by an American president drags on.

Unlike Greenland, where he could just walk away in the face of resistance, there is no walking away on Iran.

He is incapable of negotiating. He just bellows demands.

Those demands will never be met.

The only "out" is surrender and reparations -- and the attendant epic humiliation, which he will not allow.

The magnitude of the damage to this nation and the world done by his Iran insanity is mind-boggling. And it will get much, much worse.

Republicans are in denial. They continue to tell themselves it will end and everything will just "snap back" to some sort of tolerable trumpian business as usual.

But that will NEVER happen as long as DT is in the White House. There is no out with him in power.

He IS the crisis.

The only way to end the crisis is if he leaves.

If enough of them wake up and see this reality we'll see an effort to push him out. A push to resign for "health reasons" or some face saving bullshit.

It is not outside the realm of possibility.

If that does come to pass, they'll find they left it too long. It's too late. Many Republican careers are over. The party can't "live down" this level of chaos and destruction. And they only have themselves to blame.
