"Gathering of Nations-2026", Albuquerque. I just ran across several videos

of the Grand Entry and various dances from the Gathering. So very amazing to watch. I loved that the announcer paid tribute to their mothers, grandmothers, aunties, sisters, the matriarchs, wisdom keepers, etc.

Such a wonderful lift to one's spirit. So desperately needed.

To be there. I have not been to the Albuquerque gathering but I have been to many in Idaho and Montana over the years. The sense of the seven generations is really noticeable.

I was visiting a teacher friend, and volunteered as one of the chaperones for her class. It was an amazing experience.

gotten way too big and out of hand (certainly many times larger than when I saw it!). The city of Albuquerque is in talks to start a new powwow, but they emphasize that they are in the very early stages. Alb will certainly want to figure out something. The event brings in millions of dollars.
