I had Camry Hybrid but now an EV. Would have still cost the same for my Camry but I would have gotten much further Wonder Why Yesterday #7

Yesterday

I was walking my dog this weekend and saw an F 150 truck with a Trump bumper sticker. I posted about this on FB and wondered how much he is paying for a fill-up. A friend answered "I can tell you that, it's $88. But I don't have the bumper sticker".

Almost $60 just to mow the yard this year. F-150 truck has a 36 gallon tank, don't ask!

Cut my driving miles in half.
Not everyone can do that, but everyone can cut some. Just remember that the extra cost for you is going to big oil.

on that $50. Toyota, smartly, is making only Camry Hybrids and they get much better gas mileage than my old one did.

"How far can you go on a dollar's worth of fuel. For the average gas car, it is 7 miles (@ $4/gallon and 29 mpg). For the average EV it is 28 miles (12¢/kWh and 3.5 miles/kWh).

US Legacy manufacturers are cancelling their EV plans, while the EU and Asia go all in.

Ford, in their infinite wisdom, will not be making a 2027 Model year, and are scaling back their EV plants.
