Credit where credit is due to Kris Jansing and her writers at MSNOW

Just when it seemed like the media was going to go along with the administration's efforts to completely shut down any discussion of gun control after another violent episode this week-end, I was relieved to see that Kris Jansing began with just that topic this morning. She really hit it hard, too. She challenged trump's acceptance of gun violence as inevitable, and his use of the attack to push his ballroom.

My favorite line? "Despite the reality that he and the other people in that room have more collective power to change the trajectory of that than anyone else, the president admitted that he is not even going to try."

She also called him out for claiming that there's no more political violence now than any other time,
pointing out that political violence is up more than thirty percent from 2024 through last year.

That is the story, journalists! You are supposed to stand for truth above everything else. Start acting like it and hold him accountable!

called out Traitor as the Liar he is.

She's been around for a long time. I remember her name when I watched cable 22 years ago.

Those who don't care for Katy Tur should try KJ's hour(s?) instead.

she is going to lose her slot, although I think she will still be a correspondent. Probably ready to wind down a little at this point as she heads into retirement.

On March 18, 2026, it was reported Jansing has been named MS NOW's chief political reporter.

Unbelievably, Chris Jansing is 69 years old. She looks incredible.

She and Willie Geist.

Others have come and gone (like Joy Reid and Tamron Hall and thankfully ilk like Mark Halperin), but Jansing and Geist managed to somehow be employed (or reemployed) there for some time.
