The guy who was shot by the perp in his bullet proof vest may not be true. According to Carol Lennig on MSNOW, it may have been from friendly fire, it's still under investigation.

The Secret Service tackled the perp before he could reach the ballroom; a flat out lie according to an eye witness, the perp tripped.

I don't think the assassination attempt was staged but the more lies I hear from these clowns makes me wonder.
