TRUMP did a "HAPPY MORON DANCE" on the GRAVES of Robert Mueller and Rob Reiner. The MAGAts gleefully joined in the "fun." And in the midst of it, I give you BRUCE FUCKING SPRINGSTEEN, STILL the BOSS.

TRUMP's response to "political violence in our beloved United States" was to tell the motherfucking PROUD BOYS and OATH KEEPERS "You're special, and we love you" after they'd sought Mike Pence to FUCKING HANG HIM, when they had urinated and defecated in and vandalized Congressional offices and hallways, when they had BEATEN cops and sprayed BEAR SPRAY in their fucking EYES...

...remember this. And I do know there are people who would refrain from ANY PRAYERS of ANY KIND for Trump. I get it. I personally haven't prayed for anything Trump-related beyond "praying" for the end of his tenure in the White House.

But this is a guy who Trump has insulted, demonized, trolled, slimed, offering a "prayer of thanks" for his safety.

Bruce Springsteen offered a "prayer of thanks" for Donald Trump at the beginning of his show in Austin on Sunday night.

The legendary rocker – who has been embroiled in a war of words with the President for years – offered a moment of civility by acknowledging the shooting at the White House Correspondent's Dinner, which took place the night before.

In his message, the Boss gave a “prayer of thanks that our President, nor anyone in the administration, nor anyone attending, was injured” (via Consequence).

“We can disagree,” Springsteen continued. “We can be critical of those in power, and we can peacefully fight for our beliefs, but there is no place in any way, shape, or form for political violence of any kind in our beloved United States.”

6. I love the boss

I saw him at Temple University when he hadn't become famous yet.

But I am not a pacifist. I think if someone attacks you, you have a right and maybe even an obligation to fight back. That's why I spent 20 years in the military.

I think you can use violence against people who are violent. I do think there is a time to fight back violently. Now, an assassination can be deemed as protecting yourself or can be deemed as just a horrible violent act. If any of the assassination attempts against Hitler had been successful, would people have said it was wrong? What if pedo Trump drops a nuke on a US city or foreign capitol?

I just don't think calling for nonviolence while the bully is beating you up is a good idea.

It's a two sided devil. I just think of all the people pedo Trump killed in Iran, in the US thru ICE and COVID, the little girls who took their own lives after he abused them. And then he turns around and threatens genocide, war crimes, more abuse. He calls for violence against liberals almost on a daily basis. And yet we who he targets are told to lay down our weapons.......

That "pray for Trump" thing was STRATEGIC. I'm not questioning the sincerity of it but I am convinced that part the motivation was to distance HIS messaging from TRUMP'S messaging.
