So there's this new passport coming out this year

Meant to "inspire patriotism". It has Shitler's portrait on it. I'm getting a passport. Do I have to get hone with this damnable image, or is it optional and can I get one without it? I do NOT want to drag that hideous visage around the world with me.

1. Only those getting a passport in person in DC will get one--and only for(supposedly) a 25K run

So get one anywhere else throughout the country and you can avoid it. Believe me, I checked.

Because I sure wouldn't want to be carrying his ugly mug around the world!

7. I suspect there will be a uptick in online apps from the DC metro area to avoid a passport that is literally nauseating.

I also assume you can request the standard design, even at the Washington Passport Office.

Either way, I suspect that 25K may be around a lot longer than they anticipate.

I bet they sold the idea of a limited run available at one location to the felon by telling him it would make them "special" -- when in fact they knew if they printed more, or it was an option everywhere, they'd have a gigantic disposal problem.

Sure, there will be MAGA people running to that office to get one, but I don't think MAGA makes up much of the international traveling public. I could be wrong about that, but most seem to hate all them for-ners, so I just don't see them booking trips to see the world.

8. I would be wary traveling to even "friendly" countries with that passport...

Not that Americans aren't big targets to begin with but can you imagine the old days of jet hijacks and having the attackers come through the aisles checking passports? In the old days, it was often Muslim extremists and an Israeli passport would be targeted. Today, it might be BOTH, but I'd bet Americans with a Trump edition would garner "special" attention- no matter the agenda of the hijackers. Ditto kidnappers on the ground or just a gnarly and "offended" immigration official at the airport.

MAGA voters so they have an ID to vote in the midterms.

There will only be 25,000-30,000 in the run, and will only be available to applicants who apply in person in the Washington D.C. office.
