New California Governor poll has Becerra continuing his meteoric rise...

Becerra holds 24% of likely voters, while Hilton is right behind at 23%, according to the Thursday, April 30, Gudelunas Strategies poll sponsored by California is Not For Sale and obtained by POLITICO.

Democrat Tom Steyer and Republican Chad Bianco follow with 15% and 13%, respectively. Democrat Katie Porter is at 10% and Democrat Matt Mahan at 6%, while Democrats Antonio Villaraigosa and Tony Thurmond each hold 2% or less.

Becerra has gone from 4% prior to the implosion of Eric Swalwell's candidacy to 24%...in a matter of three weeks.
