crazy scenario, can Pelosi be elected Speaker?

If Boner and Cantor split the GOP votes and all the Dems vote for Pelosi, could this happen???

which means that even if pelosi gets more votes than either boner or cantor, they just keep voting and voting again until someone gets an absolute majority.

the ONLY way pelosi can become speaker is if enough republicans also vote for pelosi, because it's impossible to get an absolute majority without some republican votes.

that ain't happening.

They re-vote until they get an absolute majority. The republicans may be foolish and stupid and idiots but they will never let Pelosi get a single republican vote.
