1. I don't believe she said that. I can't find any citation beyond instagram memes that appeared no more than a month ago.

Pretty sure that's not a quote from Musk, either.

But there are numerous ones that are similar.

This is getting so tiresome to have to check and recheck everything we see and hear these days. Meanwhile, the majority of people don't check and take everything at face value. We truly seem to be living in a post-truth era and it is unnerving.

As for Musk, he thinks he is some super god who is master of all he surveys, that only he can save us from some future annihilation, ironically one that he is contributing to. The hubris is stunning and terrifying.

Throughout history, tyrants kept learning the same lessons over and over again.

"When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it—always." Gandhi

Of course, they keep trying. For some reason, many think that THEY will be different.

it makes everyone question everything they see and hear, which I believe is the point. If people don't know what to believe, you can make them believe anything.

I am exhausted. It feels like playing whack-a-mole where you can never win.

Xusk would start work on Mars right away and his presence there would necessitate his immediate departure from our jewel of a planet!
Gawd, it would improve our planet immensely!
