(884 posts)However, I hope that people who do watch the network dont tune in that day. If enough people boycott, it has to have some effect.

Secondly, I don't think Colbert would want ANYTHING to do with CBS after the bullshit they are pulled.

(258 posts)He is gonna go write a Lord of the Rings based movie and enjoy life. He might make a return with another show some day but really, he can do whatever he wants and I doubt, whatever it is, it will be doing business with CBS, at least in its current incarnation.

(394 posts)Wont be hard for this kid, anyway. All I ever watch(ed) cBS for is Colbert and football. More or less gave up on them once they canned Dan Rather.

(23,757 posts)We have an external antenna but it doesn't pick up the CBS station well at all. If I want to watch something from NBC, CBS, ABC or FOX I just hunt it down on YouTube (if I even want to do that much).
We find too many things to watch on Netflix etc anyway.

(1,680 posts)Its much harder to change course once youve already missed the exit. Its ridiculous really. Maybe this could have worked if it was prior to the last show or some kind of protest. Its way too late now. This is pure folly.
