Is there any news on Massie race yet?
If he wins, it would be great for Democrats and America, because it would indicate that the MAGA fever had broken with a lot of voters.
If he loses, it would indicate that not much has really changed, regardless of what all the polls have been saying, in my opinion.
It would be a major defeat for Trump.

(3,192 posts)The other guy is just slightly worse. His Epstein stuff is all performative and I guarantee he would not vote to impeach Trump no matter what Trump did in the Epstein files. Massie also ran many racist anti DEI ads. We got to stop uplifting these people thinking a guy is okay just, because he verbally says he is against pedophiles is an extremely low bar. No matter what happens in that race is a win for Democrats, because republicans spent massive amount of money on a seat that was safely theirs to begin with.

(266 posts)it's a longshot, but worth trying.
Massie's opponent has said he wants to reinstitute the draft. Hammer him on the repeatedly.

(3,192 posts)so having an opponent in the general for whoever wins is an improvement. I don't know how the draft issue is going to sell in the wealthiest district in Kentucky, because they'll probably just think it wont be their kids.

(3,192 posts)down 9 points with almost 50% in. He is going to need a big rally. Also could be an upset brewing in the Democratic Senate primary with Booker pulling ahead of McGrath with only 17% of Jefferson County reporting. I think some of those other candidates are taking more votes away from McGrath then Booker. In my view she is also underperforming in Hardin County and given her military background she should be doing a lot better there. However it's a Statewide race and I'll be surprised if Booker sells well in the Western half of the State.

(2,685 posts)Hes running against Trump in a closed GOP primary. Does anyone think the cult is going to turn on Trump? They will drive this ship right into the iceberg at full speed before jumping ship on Trump.
