Watched Colbert last night and cried through most of it

That dear, sweet funny man lost his job for telling the truth about Trump. Is there nothing good that evil bastard hasn't destroyed? I'll be watching tonight's final episode with a box of Kleenex and a glass of Jameson.

BTW - after tonight, CBS is off limits in our house. Done.

6. Letterman stepped up and I thank him. Colbert will do great things. Things change and then they change again.

First under John Batiste, and then under Louis Cato. There was a lovely interview with the band on YouTube:

I edited this again--so sorry STILL didn't work--so search on YouTube for:

A New York Evening with The Great Big Joy Machine
GRAMMY Museum and Louis Cato & The Great Big Joy Machine

I've always been able to post videos from YouTube before. The interview is worth the effort to find!

Trump is and always will be the smallest and most despicable man on this planet! May his life continue to be filled

with loss after loss. I will never forget or forgive what Twitler has done to Stephen Colbert, all of the band members,

and the show's staff. All the more reason to fight back at the polls!

DU in the morning doesn't force me to watch. Anything!

But at least he was forced into retirement a millionaire.

I agree that Stephen Colbert got the shaft ... but I don't believe this will hurt his career. He's so talented and loved in the industry. He could retire now if he wanted to, but I'm sure the offers are rolling in for other opportunities.

I know he's already planning to contribute to the next series of "Lord of the Rings" movies as a writer. That will get his foot in the door for other movie projects I'm sure. He could segue into producing movies and TV shows, if that's what he wants to do.

Also I'm thinking, maybe he's going to do a daytime talk show with his wife? He seems to have her on The Late Show a lot, and they do well together. Both are bright, funny and entertaining. It would be sort-of "Rosie O'Donnell" with a little bit of "Ellen Degeneres" and a little bit of "Phil Donahue." I don't know if that's in the works, but if it is I'd watch it, and I almost never watch daytime TV.
