I got about 20 pages in and I think I'm done (DNC report)

I'll try to read it later but I'm seeing a heavy dose of Blue Dog Donor influence and I don't believe it's in tune with where the public is.

Thankfully we do have many candidates who have been winning elections since 2024 and many others who are polling quite well and they are doing well because they are messaging economics without abandoning civil rights and these candidates are showing the way forward more than this autospy will.

Putting out a half assed, disorganized, incomplete document then basically having your own people comment on how bad the document is (on the document) seems dumb. It would have just been better to not release it, especially externally.

The report sucked so Martin didn't want to release it, but he was under a lot of pressure to do so - and finally he did, with a disclaimer about how it sucked. So now we know why it wasn't released previously, but maybe a second report should be done that explains why this one sucks.

to business as usual after the mid terms and continue keeping things as they have been these decades leading to this outrage, they should think again.

The billionaires and Wall Street have been corrupting our national government for years by 'contributing' to reelection and using their influence to drive through things like Citizens United. The American Middle Class has been squeezed almost to extinction, while billionaire parasites have sucked away most of the treasury.

Years of irresponsible tax cuts for corporations and billionaires have ensured the government is $39 trillion in debt, AND that we can no longer afford programs that benefit the people. But we can somehow afford to strip the treasury at the rate of a billion a day on this Iran war, as well as a trillion dollar war budget, and billions for parasitical data centers that will suck trillions of gallons of water out of the earth - water people need for washing, drinking and growing food.

We don't need all these data centers, because their purpose is NOT to make our lives better but to impose a surveillance state.

What I'm saying here is that around 1980, the government supposedly 'of, by and for' the people morphed into a government of, by and for billionaires and corporations.

In terms of MY tax money that I pay in to MY government, I'm not getting shit. Nothing that I care about or would actually help me at my kitchen table.

God's honest truth is the Dems need to develop some real spine and dismantle the whole corrupt piece of shit and builD something new from scratch, using blockchain to ensure THERE IS NO CORRUPTION.

Because I and millions of others are furious that this was allowed to happen.

I hate to think about what will happen here if this reconstruction does NOT happen. Young people who cannot even pay their bills even though they work their asses off and are buried in debt and now paying WAY MORE FOR EVERYTHING because of this fucking war are not going to be nice about it if they don't see some real reform.

WHY in the hell aren't our Democrats NOW calling for the people to go on a general strike? Why are they not calling for a TAX REVOLT????????????????

I'm sorry - for many years I was a loyal institutionalist, but it just ain't working now. As an economist, I touted policies that would help the poor, the kids and the middle class, but over a career spanning 39 years, I have seen Wall Street and the billionaire elites crush these policies in favor of lining their own pockets even more at our expense.

THIS HAS TO END.
