Republican Gets Revenge on Trump After He Insulted Fiance

A GOP congressman whose reporter fiancée was insulted by Donald Trump has vowed to become a major thorn in the president’s side.

Pennsylvania Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick on Wednesday pledged to torpedo Trump’s $1.8 billion deal with the DOJ just hours after the president disrespected the congressman’s wife, Fox News correspondent Jacqui Heinrich.

Heinrich had tried to ask Trump earlier in the day whether he’d had a call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but the president ignored her and instead went on a long diatribe against Fitzpatrick.

“Well, her husband votes against me all the time. Can you imagine?” Trump said, apparently addressing the other reporters.

What a disqualifying attribute for a leader.

Nah. The only time he votes “against” Trump is when the Party allows him to after determining that his vote would be meaningless. He has to try to look “moderate” and “independent” here in this purple district.
This is all theatre. He does what he is told. Can’t wait to vote for Bob Harvie in November.

If these guys had the spine they were born with, they wouldn't "threaten" to be a thorn in his side. They'd leave the damn party. They don't have to become Democrats...not sure that we would want or trust them. But he could become an Independent, make their majority in the House even smaller. give Mike Johnson nightmares, and hopefully cause Trump's head to explode.
But what am I thinking...expecting Republicans to do the right thing?
