Confession: I stopped tuning in to Colbert's show when he got on the age bandwagon, ridiculing Joe Biden for cognitive lack due to age.
I stopped listening to Pod Save America for the same reason.
I forgive but I would like to understand the mechanism, the decision making processes that lead them to pile on Joe for his age. There was shit he could do about it for one thing and he was more on the ball on his worst day than most.
He's done a lot of good, his heart is in the right place, and I forgive.
Nobody deserves to lose their show for upsetting a wannabe dictator. It's bad for the country, for real.
Hoping Jimmy Kimmel is safe.
Thanks, I feel better.

(11,531 posts)night return to The Daily Show. Every time he showed his frustration at the Dems running this old man I wanted to scream "What are you doing? He is running against Trump and you are going to poison this well by complaining about Biden's age? Trump is only a few years younger - WTF! This election is too important and you Jon, should know better."
I still say, maybe it was there but I just didn't see the feeble frail man that others saw in BIden. I saw a hardworking, decent man who was the best President of my lifetime. Maybe they did keep it hidden but except for that night at the debate, I thought he was pretty sharp mentally. JMHO
