I can't imagine going to a Boring trumpy rally or speech.
Trump says that 5 doctors administered a cognitive test to him during his first term and adds, "the first question was you have a bear, a snake, an elephant, and a horse. Name the horse."

The bigger question is why he has to do the test so often? Unless we don't know already.
I also write answers in cursive.

And no one brags about undergoing cognitive evaluations let alone patting themselves on the back because they know an elephant from a giraffe..

(17,942 posts)he always laser focused on those cognitive tests? Every chance he gets he talks about it. Is it really because he doesnt pass them, and of course doctors wont contradict him.

(39,158 posts)He fills the air with whatever confabulation he thinks might be amusing but ultimately the goal is merely to use up time making people look at him and his grotesque clownery.
He may have taken one of these tests once but he DGAF if his story is accurate or consistent.

The real question, then, is why dont they declare hes deteriorating rapidly and is already beyond the point of no return?

(8,301 posts)We do a mini version in psychiatry - I have plenty of older patients that I treat for mental health issues. I only do a mini cog on the ones that already present with memory or some kind of cognitive issue. The last person I asked to do one, forgot that she saw me at a recent appointment. Of course that raised alarm bells.
The fact that he's taken it so many times tells you that his providers are concerned that he has cognitive problems.

Trump on his cognitive test: "It had a question like, 'pick a number, sir, any number.' Okay. 203. 'Multiple by 9. Divide by 2. Add on 1,324. Subtract 1,292. Sir, multiply it out one more time by 19. What is the answer, sir?' I got it right."

(1,391 posts)The MOCA cognitive test does ask the person to name three animals (horse, tiger, duck)
The MOCA asks people to recall 5 things the tester says to them (which are supposed to be unrelated BTW, not "TV, camera, man, woman" ffs)
and to count backwards subtracting by 7 starting at 60.
He is either lying (what else is new) or he can't remember anything about the test. Maybe a bit of both, called confabulating.
Cognitive test and IQ test are two entirely different things.
The cognitive test like the MOCA is used to assess for delirium and dementia -- not intelligence.
The MOCA is pretty simple. Folks should check it out to see what this imbecile is referring to.
It is administered to people suspected of cognitive impairment... like him.
He says he has done it FIVE times, which is very telling.
I also hate it when the other person in his narratives supposedly calls him "sir". What an asshat.

(1,270 posts)Ridden with his rambling nonsense bragging about passing a dementia test. Dont some of those people have elderly family members who get the same tests? Dont they realize that hes describing taking dementia assessments? I helped care for my elderly parents and they would be given similar tests along with verbal screening from their doctors. It goes along with the edema and bruises. Hes 80 yrs old.

(2,688 posts)He doesn't talk about most of the other parts of his cognitive assessment tests beyond the animals...

I think Krasnov should do a televised test... He should be proud to show his cognitive skills
for all the world to see...
Here's a video of a demonstration of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) if you've
never taken the exam or seen the exam administered.
Methinks watching Krasnov completing this assessment on prime time telly could be an Emmy-winning
performance. It could even be a Pay-Per-View fundraiser...

(10,461 posts)He claims they name an animal and he has to point to which picture it is. It's the complete opposite. They point to a picture and he has to name the animal. He also always names at least 4 animals when the actual test ALWAYS includes just 3 animal pictures.

(10,461 posts)(The questions he claims he answered are absolutely NOT part of the cognitive tests) leads me to believe he has failed multiple tests. Pretty hard to believe he passed a cognitive exam when he can't even describe the test correctly.
