Wisconsin Driver Removes 'Road Closed' Barrier and Drives Straight Into Freshly Poured Concrete

A driver in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, decided he didn't feel like reading signs anymore and totaled his car in record time. A removed "road closed" barrier and a trip straight to concrete oblivion did the trick.

The tragic, albeit widely considered hilarious, incident occurred at the I-41/894/US 45 and National Avenue interchange. According to a pun-filled post shared by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WDoT), that's where the driver's weekend plans started to "crack."

The WDoT detailed that a driver, who remains unnamed, probably for his own sake, had decided to physically remove a "road closed" barrier. Set on his destination and showing a complete lack of "solid" judgment, the individual drove right into freshly poured concrete.

A photo of the pickup amid its "sticky" situation was also posted online. And as if the whole situation wasn't humiliating enough in itself, the internet decided to have quite a bit of fun with the stuck driver.

That wasn't Ron Johnson per chance?

Even if his excuse is following GPS. Hope he has to pay for having the concrete fixed up.

deep pit. Mr. Mouse's squeak for help was heard my Mr. Elephant who came to the pit, saw what was going on and lowered his dick into the pit. Mr. Mouse climbed on and Mr. Elephant lifted him out of the pit, on his dick. They shook paws and went on their ways,.

Well damn. Wouldn't ya know? A week later, Mr. Elephant got lost and fell into the same pit. Mr. Mouse heard the trumpeting for help. He saw what the problem was. He went home and got a rope and drove to the pit in his BMW. Mr. Mouse tied one end of the road to the BMW bumper and dropped the other end into the pit. Mr. Elephant tied the rope to himself. Mr. Mouse put the Beemer in first and lifted Mr Elephant out of the pit. They again shook paws and went on their ways.

Guy driving his beemer gets into a horrific wreck, losing his arm. Medics come on him to hear him moaning, ‘my beemer! My beemer!’

Medic remarks, ‘sir, you’ve just had a terrible accident that involves something more valuable than your car.’

Guy glances over and notices that his arm is gone, then begins honing, ‘my Rolex! My Rolex!’

He did this to himself and didn't die or suffer a major injury. Seems like a good lesson for him.

I remember this Porche 911 driver who drove into wet concrete here in San Francisco a few years back. He stayed in the car and waited for the work crew to save him.

I would've not lifted a finger for the jerk.

Right!

Not buying one!

But the logic was sound - remove the sign and the reason for why it was there just disappears!
