I think I'm understanding what's going on...

Feeling jealous of everyone is a common, albeit painful, human experience often rooted in low self-esteem, high stress, or comparing your "behind-the-scenes" to others' curated highlights. It indicates a perceived personal lack.

Rump spends his days and nights resenting scores of people in every walk of life. The billions he has grifted or outright stolen can’t make up for his feelings of inadequacy.

I’m a retired nurse of 50 years and presently work as a lunch lady. It’s the sweetest job in the world because I’m taking care of healthy, naughty kids, as well as my Special Kids who this year won most of the Special Olympics in our region. I’m certain that Rump has never had such a high, or accomplishment!

But agree that the younger students can be such fun. Good for you for finding such a rewarding spot to spend some time with them.

It amazes me, though, how fast I can spot the ones who are going to be the most successful. Even at middle school age, there are some who are very competent--who listen and can then go do what you tell them. They're very serious about accomplishing their task.

Described resentment as, by far, the most destructive emotion.

It's the main tool of rags like the Daily Mail, Fox News, Murdoch tabloids; stir up the low information readers. Get them angry and resentful. You can be cheerful and positive without being a Candide.
