If I were in charge of the DNC,

I would have a staff compile a catalogue of thousands or it might actually be tens of thousands of clips wherein Hair Furor makes remarks on camera which are outrageous and classify and index them accordingly. The indices would comprise individuals, geographic regions, both small and large, races, religions, all issues such as spending, climate change, defense, health and welfare….you get the idea.

When a Republican candidate attempts to criticize or excoriate a Democratic candidate, this open file may be searched and the appropriate response clip may be played virtually immediately. For example, the Republican might accuse the Democrat of being “soft on crime”. What would follow would be an instant replay of Orangina granting pardons to convicted criminals and if appropriate, a clip or statement of the Republican supporting “his/her” President, thus allowing the Republican to make the case for the Democrat.

Please do not inform me that this won’t work because it’s “negative politics”. The Democrat is welcome thereafter or in a separate advertisement advocate for his or her own qualities and experiences.

We have to demonstrate the extraordinary hypocrisy of the RW and we have to use the rhetorical equivalent of a sledge hammer. We have the material, now they need to use it.

And NO SMILING. It isn’t funny in the least.

“This is my proposal it belongs to me and is mine too” -slightly paraphrased from Monty Python.

That's what we need, people who are media savvy. Unfortunately our press won't ask difficult questions, so Democrats need to do it. We need to talk about all of the things that Fox News won't cover. The Democrats are going to have to take a more active role in news making, like they do.

nominate the fiercest fighter to deliver those "political" messages. Stop picking candidates based on labels because we always end up eating ourselves in fights between moderates and progressives.

Job 1 is to regain our democracy so that we reinstall programs and laws that benefit working class Americans. Right now it appears to me that the billionaires who are running this country believe that the bottom 60% of people are not needed.

We need people who can be biting when necessary and vicious when they have to be. This is what the masses respect. “Nice guys finish last” ain’t for nothing.

Too much insiderism at DNC. Great ideas fall like a feather, miles from relevance.

What they need is a strong leader who has the win-at-any -cost mindset.

Do Republicans know about that? Seems to work just fine for them.

I agree with your plan. When you've got a guy who creates negative ad content on an hourly basis, literally vast quantities of it, why not? He's the gift that keeps on giving in that respect. Always has been. Drown Republicans in Trump's verbal diarrhea.

No… I would do it the hard way…I wouldn’t turn the job over to an intern who doesn’t know his/her ass from a hole in the ground. I would assign a group of knowledgeable, experienced folks to this job and have everything ready and vetted for instantaneous response and have it available for Democratic candidates from dog catcher up to President.

And people have to have autopsy reports of why we lose…

Especially ones from Ivy league schools. There is no reason to overcomplicate things. And the limited staff that works for the DNC has a lot better things to do.

I was an intern from an Ivy League school and was very impressed with myself. I had a lot to learn.

Trump, trump, trump…all the time 24/7…he’s never out of the news…always seen, heard.

Now go find a Democrat that can do that…someone who can be a loud newsmaker getting heard at all times. Someone to get in the face of the press demanding to be noticed, demanding to be heard. Someone to take a strong stance in opposition and demand exposure.

Fire with fire. Not paralyzed by planning.

The average voter is *not* informed like we are. Literally does not understand how our government functions. Literally does not understand that the majority party in either house has immense control over what legislative actions are even brought to the table.

So when all the attention is given to Trump, the average voter considers the GOP candidate not part of the problem.

But the entire GOP party *is* the problem. They could have Trump out in 24 hours if they wanted to with the help of Dems, but the GOP will not do it.

The attacks need to focus primary responsibility of the decline of our country -- not on what Trump said or did, but the fact that the GOP party does nothing to stop it.
