Stop calling the Tea Party the Tea Party they are Republicans, period.

Currently Congress has Democrats, Republicans and Independents.

No one currently in Congress was elected as a member of the Tea Party.

The Tea Party is not even an official political party they are just your typical crazy Republican.

Remember the "pro-war" rallies during the run up to the criminal Iraq War? Tea party!
The tea party is the hard right flank which threatens revolution whenever they lose an election. When they win, the are the worst cheerleaders for the party, no matter what they do.

They are all Republicans, as you say. No such Party as the Tea Party, they are just Republicans and nothing more.

Some people are saying, "She's got to be sick in the head, laughing about the victim being killed. Lock her up in a mental ward and see if she can be fixed." But others are arguing, "No, she may have had anger problems, but she had the capacity to know what she was doing was wrong. That's not 'crazy' unless all assaults are crazy. Put her on trial."

So which is it, psychopath or merely a sociopath who let her impulses run over her judgment? Are they like any other Republican, capable of being members of Congress with bad ideas? Or are they a special variety of Republican, incapable of responsible behavior, the unnatural spawn of two generations of reckless demagoguery, rising like Frankenstein's monster to haunt the egomaniac that created them?

For a long time the media tried to convince everyone that these were "independents."Truth is they are just the same old Right Wing Republicans who created this con and the media dutifully brought in to it?Got to be "fair" you know!

The Tea Party is a distinct subgroup of the GOP. At the moment, they are the albatross around the GOP's neck.
